| The mission of AIDT is to provide quality workforce development for Alabama's new and existing businesses, and to expand the opportunities of its citizens through the jobs these businesses create. AIDT, an institute of the State's Department of Postsecondary Education, encourages economic development through job-specific training. Training services are offered in many areas, and are free of charge to new and expanding businesses throughout the State. AIDT Quality Policy ThyssenKrupp to create 2,700 jobsAIDT welcomes ThyssenKrupp Steel and Stainless USA, LLC, to its new home in northern Mobile and southern Washington counties in southwest Alabama. Ready to WorkAlabama's Ready to Work program provides a career pathway for adults with limited education and employment experience at 39 locations.
