Austal held a formal ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday, November 9 at their new state-of-the-art shipbuilding facility in Mobile. Phase I of their $200 million dollar facility is complete and was completed in record time. The new facility will help usher in new ways to increase efficiency and productivity in shipbuilding.
